Jan Didriksen

Born and raised in Niagara wine country - an environment that clearly contributed to his passion for fine wines. This early interest in wines attracted him to the restaurant industry. Starting as a busboy at age 14, he progressed through the ranks to sommelier and manager while working for Langdon Hall, The Vineyard Cafe at Hillebrand Winery, Vintage Inns at The Pillar and Post, SIR Corp., Pepperwood Restaurants, and Ki Modern Japanese, to name a few. Jan earned his marketing degree from Brock University, and his Sommelier Certification at George Brown College, under the tutelage of Jacques Marie.

Jan joined the Fine Wine Reserve in 2007. As Cellarmaster, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the cellar. Jan monitors and maintains the climate control and security systems, ensuring our clients continue to receive the highest standards of professional cellaring. Jan manages our Case Storage operations, including shipping/receiving, warehousing, inventorying, and wine transport. Jan is also our primary customer service provider, and the Fine Wine Reserve is very fortunate to have someone of his caliber and enthusiasm working with our clients and suppliers.
