Schiopetto Tasting – In conjunction with Le Sommelier Inc., Exclusive Wine Agents we proudly welcomed the son of Friuli's founding father of modern winemaking, Carlo Schiopetto to the Fine Wine Reserve.
This was Carlo's first trip to Toronto, and he was eager to lead our members through a range of Schiopetto's most recent release.
Schiopetto is one of Collio's oldest wineries, and Carlo's father Mario started a winemaking revolution in Friuli when he set up shop there in the mid 1960s. Their wines are regarded by many as some of the finest in Italy.
