Diane McQuaig

Diane is senior Consultant at MICA Consulting Partners, spearheading the innovation practice and working with Fortune 1000 companies around strategic thinking skills and creativity. She is also President of The McQuaig Group Inc., a management consulting firm representing internationally renowned author and speaker Edward de Bono worldwide. Director of Camp Cucumber, a registered charity dedicated to enriching the lives of single Mom families on welfare from the Jane Finch community. She is also Director of The Don McQuaig Foundation, a charity focused on raising awareness and supporting screening initiatives for colon cancer.

Diane stepped in for her husband Don McQuaig after he succumbed to cancer in 2006. Don founded MICA Consulting Partners in the early 1972, bringing world thought leaders such as Tom Peters, Wayne Dyer and Stephen Covey to the Toronto business community. Eventually he built MICA into a world class organization, committed to exceptional people development. A member of The Rotary Club of Toronto for 20 years from the age of 21, he chaired many committees, always putting others above self. A past Chair of Youth Employment Services, he had a keen interest in mentoring disadvantaged youth. An active member of the Young Presidents Organization and past Chair, he devoted his energies to building lifelong relationships. A devoted and doting husband and daddy to his four daughters, Don made every day special and interesting. His enthusiasm for people and places and his passion for business, politics, travel and learning was infectious - his sense of humour legendary. Don was truly one of a kind, loved by so many, missed by everyone... he became a lifelong teacher to us all.
