Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe Tasting - Brought to us by our good friends at John Hanna & Sons, our members had the very special opportunity to meet Daniel Brunier of Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe in Chateauneuf du Pape. As owner and winemaker at this noble estate, Daniel is a world wine icon. His wines are regularly recognized by leading restaurants, wine critics and collectors as representing the very best of this acclaimed appellation.
Daniel presented a formal sit-down style tutored tasting featuring several back vintages from his estates in Chateauneuf du Pape.
Following the sit down session, the room was opened up to more members and they got an opportunity to sample the 2008 vintage of Chateauneuf du Papes from both of Daniel's estates - Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe and Domaine la Roquete.
A fun Sunday indeed.
