Masi Amarone Tasting - Authentic Wine & Spirits Merchants dropped in to present our members with an exclusive Amarone tasting opportunity. We were very honoured to have Masi company President and Proprietor Sandro Boscaini co-hosting the event. Mr. Boscaini is the sixth generation Boscaini to head this family run house.
Sandro is widely recognized and often quoted as the authority on Veneto wine. His family run winery, Masi Agricola, is the leading purveyor of Amarones, and the first to commercially market historic single vineyard or “cru” Amarones, Mazzano and Campolongo di Torbe, in the late 1950’s. In 1964, Sandro with his father launched the original ripasso wine, Campofiorin. Company President since 1978, he has pioneered a more modern style of Amarone that today stands amongst the finest wines from Italy.
Please come and enjoy an informal tasting of current single vineyard “cru” Amarones, and a selection of back vintage library wines released for the first time commercially.
