New World Pinot Noir Tasting (Session 2: Drop-In) - Insider Wine

Private DROP-IN tasting led by Alex Abbott Boyd at the Fine Wine Reserve Tasting Room (439 King St. W.).


Certified Sommelier Alex Abbott Boyd of Insider Wine will host a wine tasting featuring wines from an icon of Australian wine, Bindi Wines, alongside several top Willamette Valley producers with wines sourced from different AVAs and vintages. The focus will be on Pinot Noir and discovering how the terroir differences between new world subregions express themselves through the grape. AVAs featured will include Macedon Ranges in Victoria, Australia and Ribbon Ridge, Chehalem Mountains, and Yamhill-Carlton in the Willamette Valley of Oregon and vintages tasted will go as far back as 2015, allowing guests the chance to try more mature expression alongside newer releases. Additionally an amphora-aged Pinot Gris will be available to sample at this tasting.
